3rd and 4th graders. Welcome on board!
This course has begun with fiesta contact with Iago (New Art teacher). We were "working" on the Library decoration making some funny Origami jumping frogs and a new technique of drawing (Zentangle) that helps our students to concentrate and relax. In addition, we have a lucky company from Northern Ireland. This course is with us an auxiliary languages Taylor!!. She is very nice and creative. So...everybody is ready for a course full of imagination and funny creations!!

Our final Art Portfolio
As a final activity, our 4th graders have decorated their Art Portfolios where they've kept their artworks alongside this academic course//Como actividad final los alumnos de 4º han decorado su Portfolio de Arte donde guardaron sus obras hechas a lo largo de este curso

4th Graders donation to the Abelendo School Library
Last June 13th, our 4th graders donated to the School Library the book they made "THE GREEN BOOK ABOUT RECYCLING" with a very special Thank-you-letter for the School Coordinator.// El pasado 13 de Junio nuestros alumnos de 4º cedieron a la biblioteca del colegio el libro que ellos hicieron "THE GREEN BOOK ABOUT RECYCLING" con una carta de agradecimiento muy especial para el coordinador de la misma.

Our final project: The Green Book about Recycling
As an End of the Year final project, our 4th graders have designed and illustrated a book about recycling and how to take care of our evironment. As the School Project was about recycling, they have donated the book to the School Library.// Como proyecto final de fin de curso, nuestros alumnos de 4º han diseñado e ilustrado un libro sobre reciclaje y cómo cuidar del medio ambiente. Como el proyecto del colegio era sobre reciclaje, al final donaron el libro a la biblioteca escolar.

Landscapes with perspective
During these last weeks we've been working with perspective. Creating depth in outdoor scenes by using perspective lines. Drawing two diagonal lines that meet at a vanishing point in distance and showing objects that overlap and get smaller along the perspective lines. As a final project our 4th graders have drawn their landscapes of mountains, countrysides, deserts and forests, adding paths, roads, and railway tracks with perspective lines.// Durante las últimas semanas hemos estado trabajando con la perspectiva. Creando profundidad en escenas exteriores y usando líneas de perspectiva. Dibujando dos líneas diagonales que se encuentran en un punto y se difuminan en la distancia y mostrando objectos que se superponen y se ven más pequeños, añadiendo caminos, carreteras y vías del tren.
