Christmas is here.

Time flies and Christmas is coming. Jingle bells, Christmas cards...our artists from Abelendo school, have designed different and  colourful Christmas decorations. Our classroom is full of colours, glitter, bells,  ribbons, cardboards, tempera, paintbrushess, oil pastels...Everybody's ready for having a HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!// El tiempo vuela y la Navidad está aquí. Campanillas, postales navideñas...nuestros artistas del CEIP Abelendo han diseñado diferentes y coloridos adornos navideños. Nuestra clase se ha llenado de colores, purpurina, campanillas, lazos, cartulinas, tempera, pinceles, ceras al óleo...Todos estamos preparados para una FELIZ NAVIDAD y un FELIZ AÑO!!

Still life patterns

After observing all kind of patterns in different artworks and magazines, our fourth graders have been learning about still lifes and polka dots, stripes, checks, waves, horizontal and vertical lines or zig-zags and they've been working on their "special" still lifes. // Después de observar todo tipo de estampados en diferentes obras de arte y revistas, nuestros alumnos de 4º han aprendido sobre bodegones, lunares, rayas, cuadrados, ondas, líneas verticales y horizontales o zig-zags y han estado trabajando en sus "especiales" bodegones.

Expressive Portraits

Now it´s time to work on "Expressive Portraits". Our fourth graders have learnt about proportion and different facial expressions in Art and in the human body and they've created their own portraits//  Llegó el momento de trabajar con  "Retratos Expresivos". Nuestros alumnos de 4º han aprendido acerca de la proporción y expresiones faciales en arte y en el cuerpo humano y han creado sus propios retratos.

My sketchbook

In this activity, fourth graders have learnt about "Subjects" in Artworks. They`ve looked at well-known Portraits, Still lifes, Sculptures, Cityscapes, landscapes....Finally they've created and decorated their sketchbooks where they'lll write information and ideas related to the topics we will deal with alongside this course// En esta actividad, los alumnos de cuarto grado han aprendido sobre distintos temas en obras de arte. Han observado conocidos retratos, bodegones, esculturas, ciudades, paisajes...Por último han creado y decorado sus libretas donde escribirán información e ideas relacionados con lo que iremos tratando a lo largo del curso.
